Ms. Quirino obtained her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science in Education degrees, magna cum laude from Assumption College. She graduated with honors from the Ateneo de Manila University with a Bachelor of Laws degree.
Law Professorial Positions & Legal Publications:
Ms. Quirino wrote numerous articles published in various local and international publications in the field of intellectual property law, the more recent one being the Philippine chapter of the book “International Copyright Law; A Practical Global Guide” published by Global Law and Business of U.K. in 2013, and the “Philippine Chapter of the PLC Cross-Border Data Protection Handbook 2010/2011” published by Practical Law PLC (U.K.). She also has written several articles on corporate law, in particular the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) Law of the Philippines which was published by the International and Comparative Law Center of The Southwestern Legal Foundation, Dallas, Texas. She actively participates in various international and local seminarsand conferences on intellectual property law and business law as speaker or panelist. The main focus of Ms. Quirino’s practice is in the areas of intellectual property (IP) law and business law. She has helped place the Firm at the forefront in the fight against counterfeiting and piracy of intellectual property. She is consistently cited as a leading IP lawyer in Asia in the publications of AsiaLaw Profiles, Asia Pacific Legal 500, and a cross-border lawyer in PLC “Which Lawyer” (Practical Law Company) and Chambers Asia. She has been consistently cited as one of the top intellectual property practitioners in the Philippines by both local and foreign publications.

Ms. Quirino is an active member of several professional organizations, notably the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Philippine Bar Association, Inter-Pacific Bar Association (Jurisdictional Council Member), ASEAN Law Association, ASEAN-Intellectual Property Association (Councilor), Asian Patent Attorneys Association (Vice President and Councilor) and Association Internationale pour la Protection de Propriete Industrielle (EXCO Member). Intellectual Property Association of the Philippines (Past Chairman and President; Member, Council of Advisers), Intellectual Property Foundation, Inc. (Trustee-Treasurer). Ms. Quirino is the Corporate Secretary and a member of the Board of Trustees of Assumption College. She is also the Vice-Chairman and a member of the Board of Trustees of the Ateneo de Manila Law Alumni Association, Inc., having served as Trustee and President from 2009 to 2013.
