Education/Academic Attainments: 
Mr. Regala finished his Bachelor of Arts at the University of Sydney in 1953. In 1954, he completed all the academic requirements leading to a Master of Arts in Economics at the same University. From the University of the Philippines, he obtained his Bachelor of Laws (cum laude) and his Bachelor of Science in Jurisprudence (cum laude) in 1959. He was elected to the International Honor Societies of Phi Kappa Phi and Pi Gamma Mu. He also holds an Master of Laws degree from Harvard University (1960) under a Harvard Scholarship Grant. In 1961, he took special courses on Corporate Taxation and Securities Regulation at the New York University School of Law. He was an Associate in Sullivan and Cromwell Law Offices in New York City from 1960 to 1962. He was a Partner in the Law Office of Sycip Salazar Luna Manalastas and Feliciano at the time of the formation of ACCRALAW.
Law Professorial Positions & Legal Publications: 
From 1963 to 1964, Mr. Regala was Assistant Professor of Law at the Far Eastern University handling courses in Private International Law and Advanced Taxation. Professional Membership & Affiliations: 
Mr. Regala is actively involved in Inter-Pacific Bar Association since its organization in 1991, having served in the Council up to the time he became President in 1996-1997. He served as President of the UP Law Alumni Association for the term 1983-1984. He was President of the Harvard Club of the Philippines from 2002 to 2008. He is the President of Union Church of Manila Philippines Foundation, Inc. He also serves as director and/or officer of several corporations.
