The Firm advises clients on securities laws and regulations, as well as the requirements of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE). ACCRALAW has been involved in many of the major pre-initial public offering restructurings as well as initial public offerings of various local companies. The Firm’s lawyers have also handled the establishment of mutual funds, securitization projects, leisure and country clubs as well as the registration of their shares for sale to the public. ACCRALAW continues to act as counsel in various international public offerings of equity and debt securities of leading companies.


ACCRALAW lawyers are experienced in handling complex civil, administrative and criminal litigation issues arising from alleged violations of the Securities Regulation Code and implementing rules and regulations, including representation before the SEC and the courts.


In addition to the foregoing, the PSE has, in the past, engaged our services in proposing amendments to the Securities Regulation Code and the Firm’s lawyers have been involved in the drafting of key laws, such as the Special Purpose Vehicle Act of 2002 and the Securitization Law.
