ACCRALAW Lawyers Among the Top 100 Lawyers

The Asia Business Law Journal recognized eight (8) lawyers from ACCRALAW among the top 100 lawyers of the Philippines. The list is based on “extensive research conducted and nominations received from in-house counsel based in the country and elsewhere, as well as Philippine-focused partners at international law firms based outside the jurisdiction.”

Included in the list are Founding Partner Avelino V. Cruz, Of Counsels Victor P. Lazatin and Eusebio V. Tan, and Senior Partners Francisco Ed. Lim, Emerico O. De Guzman, Alex Ferdinand S. Fider, Patricia-Ann T. Prodigalidad, and Judy Hao.

They are also among those consistently recognized in their fields.

Mr. Cruz advises clients on corporate finance, projects, and real estate. He is also recognized for his expertise in matters relating to the ASEAN treaty for the protection of foreign investments.

Mr. Lazatin is a leading lawyer in dispute resolution. He is also highly regarded as an advocate and arbitrator in international commercial arbitration and construction arbitration.

Mr. Tan specializes in banking and finance, government contracts, and public-private partnership arrangements. He is recognized in the business community for his strategic and practical insights.

Mr. De Guzman is the Firm’s Managing Partner and a leading employment law practitioner. He advises clients on labor disputes and assists them during conciliation, mediation, and arbitration of such disputes. He also advises clients on the labor impact of mergers and acquisitions.

Mr. Fider heads the Firm’s Intellectual Property Department. He actively advises clients on the protection of their intellectual property rights.

Mr. Lim, who served as President and Chief Executive Officer of the Philippine Stock Exchange, has demonstrated his abilities in both corporate practice and litigation.

Ms. Prodigalidad is a leading dispute resolution practitioner. She is known for handling complex commercial disputes and representing clients in commercial and construction arbitration disputes.
