The In-House Community eCongress Philippines was successfully held on 18, 24 and 25 November 2020. It is the In-House Community’s 7th annual forum in the Philippines. ACCRALAW co-hosted this online forum and it was attended by in-house lawyers and compliance professionals from the Philippines and Asia. The 3-day eCongress was a venue for in-house lawyers and compliance professionals to discuss important legal developments affecting their industries.
ACCRALAW’s lawyers participated in the following sessions: “Labor and Employment: Returning to the Workplace: Philippine Protocols” and “Protecting Corporate Leadership from Legal Harassment and Unnecessary Exposure; Managing Cyber Crises: A Wholistic Approach”. Senior Partner Oliver L. Pantaleon, and Partners Jose Martin R. Tensuan, Clarence Darrow C. Valdecantos, and Joy Anne C. Leong-Pambid provided the legal updates and shared their insights. They discussed the impact of the accelerated need to migrating to online platforms because of restrictions of working onsite and the heightened need to protect its data.
Managing Partner and Senior Partner Emerico O. De Guzman joined the South-East Asia Regional Session among general counsels and law firm partners on EFFECT, which is an acronym for Effective Crisis Management, Fees and Billing, Focused, Tailored, Succinct Advice, Efficiency and Technology, Corporate Social Responsibility, Trust and Partnership.
