ACCRALAW proudly announces the re-election of Senior Partner Emerico O. De Guzman as its Managing Partner and election of Senior Partner Patricia-Ann T. Prodigalidad as Co-Managing Partner.
Mr. De Guzman has been the Firm’s Managing Partner since 2014. He ably led the Firm last year that proved to be very challenging due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ms. Prodigalidad, a member of the Firm’s Business Continuity Planning Committee, contributed to the Firm’s efforts to quickly adapt and serve the Firm’s clients without any disruption and additional cost.
Both Mr. De Guzman and Ms. Prodigalidad are highly-acclaimed in their respective fields of specialization. Mr. De Guzman is a leading labor and employment law practitioner while Ms. Prodigalidad has established herself among the best dispute resolution practitioners in the country, whose expertise include litigation, commercial and construction arbitration.
Taking leadership roles is not new to them. Mr. De Guzman has held key positions in organizations, such as the Philippine Bar Association, Integrated Bar of the Philippines, and People Management Association of the Philippines. Ms. Prodigalidad similarly held key positions in different organizations, including the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, Philippine Dispute Resolution Center, Inc., and University of the Philippines Women Lawyers’ Circle.
With the election of Mr. De Guzman and Ms. Prodigalidad, the Senior Partners and Partners of the Firm are confident that the Firm will continue to strive to live up to the vision of the Firm’s Founding Partners when the Firm was formed in 1972 — an institutional law firm with the highest standards of legal competence.
