ACCRALAW’s Senior Partners

ACCRALAW has endured as a law firm because of its lawyers who have contributed to its growth. In recognition of their deepened expertise in their respective fields and continued service to the Firm, the following lawyers were promoted from Partners to Senior Partners of ACCRALAW.
 
Andre B. Navato with the Corporate and Special Projects Department. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Economics in 1993 and Juris Doctor degree in 1997 from the Ateneo de Manila University. He also took up advanced law studies and completed his Master of Laws from Cornell University in 2003. Andy specializes in investments, banking and finance, and mergers and acquisitions. Among
his key clients are Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation and CVC Asia Pacific Limited.
 
Arnold M. Corporal is with the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department. He completed his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy and Letters from San Beda College in 1993 and his Juris Doctor
degree from Ateneo de Manila University. Jake’s litigation practice is focused on disputes affecting regulatory issues. He also represents clients in different arbitration bodies and in ad hoc arbitrations on construction and commercial disputes. Manila Electric Company and Philippine Long Distance Telephone Company are his clients.
 
Jose Martin R. Tensuan is with the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department. He graduated from the University of the Philippines in 1991 with a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. He
also obtained his Juris Doctor degree from the Ateneo de Manila University in 1996. Martin represents clients in intra-corporate disputes and other commercial disputes. For arbitration, he is
both an advocate and arbitrator with experience in construction arbitration as well as domestic and international arbitration before the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center, Inc. and Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre. He counts among his key clients are Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation and Unilab, Inc.. He is also the Monitor of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department.
 
Clarence Darrow C. Valdecantos is with the Labor and Employment Department. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication (Journalism) from the University of the Philippines in 1993 and Bachelor of Laws from San Beda College in 1997. Clarence leads administrative investigations and collective bargaining agreement negotiations. He also defends clients in disputes on employee money claims and termination disputes. Among his clients are LizardBear Tasking Inc. and Thumbtack, Inc. He is also the Head of the Labor and Employment Department.
 
The recent string of promotions demonstrates Firm’s continued growth. Without a doubt, ACCRALAW’s newly-promoted Senior Partners will not only lead the Firm to greater heights, but also
serve as role models to the young lawyers of the Firm.
