To kick off the series of events in celebration of its 50th anniversary, on 19 May 2022, ACCRALAW hosted an evening of cocktails and songs at the Grand Ballroom of Shangri-la Hotel, Bonifacio Global City. The Firm’s Managing Partner Patricia-Ann T. Prodigalidad explained the Firm’s vision for the next 50 years, which is to continue rendering excellent legal services to clients. However, in testament to its duty to the Philippine society, ACCRALAW strives to go beyond legal excellence and on its 50th year, it launched its newly-created practice department — the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Department.
The CSR Department is headed by Senior Partner Alex Ferdinand S. Fider. To date, the Firm has entered into alliances with three non-profit organizations, namely, Teach for the Philippines, Water.org, and the Foundation for Professional Training, Inc.
At the 50th anniversary cocktails, Clarissa Delgado, CEO of Teach for the Philippines, also spoke and acknowledged the Firm’s efforts to share its expertise to its organization.
As shared by Ms. Prodigalidad, “We choose to do this because, in the words of former US First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt, for ‘our own success to be real, it must contribute to the success of others.’”
