The Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Makati City Chapter (IBP Makati) held a legal aid clinic at the Makati City Jail on 2 December 2022. Volunteer lawyers of IBP-Makati provided legal advice to both male and female inmates.
Prior to the legal aid clinic, IBP Makati also donated six (6) Lenovo laptops for the male and female dormitories of the city jail. The laptops will be used by the inmates for virtual hearings, legal consultations, and virtual visitation by their families and loved ones.
Senior Partner Jose Martin R. Tensuan, an incumbent director of IBP Makati, as well as Partner Eric R. Recalde, volunteered for the legal aid clinic.
