On 8 February 2023, ACCRALAW Senior Partner Leland R. Villadolid Jr. served as a speaker in “How to Detect Scams: Addressing the Rising Cybersecurity Issues,” a webinar organized by the European Chamber of Commerce of the Philippines (ECCP).
Mr. Villadolid discussed, among others, the importance and development of cybersecurity in the Philippines and how users may reduce their chances of being victimized by cyber-related crimes and scams.
Mr. Villadolid is a Senior Partner of the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department, and is consistently recognized by legal publications as a leading lawyer for telecommunications, cybersecurity, and cybercrime in the Philippines.
The ECCP is a bilateral foreign chamber that “promotes European interests in the Philippines and vice versa.” It regularly holds various seminars and fora on important economic issues affecting Philippine-European business relations.
