ACCRALAW proudly announces that Joseph Anthony I. Malaya has been admitted to the Partnership effective 1 January 2023.
Mr. Malaya joined the Firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department on 1 August 2012. He obtained his Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Ateneo de Manila University in 2007 and his Juris Doctor degree from the same university in 2011 where he graduated with Second Honors.
On 1 January 2016, he was promoted to Senior Associate.
Among his key practice areas is construction arbitration. One of his successful construction arbitration cases before the Construction Industry Arbitration Commission involved a 48-storey corporate tower and 10-storey school and sanctuary complex. He also assisted a private contractor in its claim against certain project owners for multi-million projects in Metro Manila.
Mr. Malaya’s admission to the Partnership signals the Firm’s continued growth.
