ACCRALAW acted as Philippine counsel to UBS AG, Singapore Branch (“UBS AG”) in connection with the sale by Megaworld Corporation of 279,400,000 common shares in its real estate investment trust, MREIT, Inc. (“MREIT”). UBS AG served as sole placement agent for the transaction. The MREIT shares were sold at a price of Php 13.00 per share, or for a total consideration of Php 3.63 Billion.
