ACCRALAW Senior Partner Alex Ferdinand S. Fider has been recognized by IAM in its Global Leaders 2024 awards.
Mr. Fider assists local and foreign clients in the protection and enforcement of their intellectual property (“IP”) rights across a broad spectrum of industries, including pharmaceuticals, broadcasting, motorcycles, engine lubricants, food manufacturing, sportswear, cosmetics, and music. He has advised international organizations including the EC-ASEAN Intellectual Property Cooperation Program, the Japan Export Trade Organization, and the International Rice Research Institute. He has also authored various articles and textbooks on matters relating to IP and taught IP law courses in Philippine law schools.
Mr. Fider has been consistently regarded as a leading practitioner in the area of IP. His most recent awards include recognition as among the best 100 practicing lawyers in the Philippines for 2023 by the Asia Business Law Journal, Elite Practitioner by Asialaw 2023/24, Patent Star and Trademark Star by IP STARS 2023, Leading Individual by The Legal 500 Asia-Pacific for 2023, and Band 1, Intellectual Property lawyer by 2023 Chambers Asia-Pacific Rankings.
