ACCRALAW participated in the Legal Aid Clinic of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines Makati City Chapter (“IBP Makati”) held last 8 May 2024 at the Makati City Hall.
Associates Kristine Bernadette F. Soriano, Annie Carmeli G. Antonio, Beatriz Maria Sofia C. Pangalangan, and Julienne Aleeza B. Francisco represented ACCRALAW for this session. They responded to queries of indigent Makati City residents on civil and criminal matters.
Other than giving a venue for ACCRALAW lawyers to render pro bono legal aid, this activity also provides them the opportunity to apply their legal knowledge to areas different from their fields of specialization.
The IBP Makati, in partnership with several of the country’s biggest law firms, provides free legal services every Wednesday at the Radio Room on the 18th Floor of the Makati City Hall. Residents of Makati City may request legal advice and the drafting of simple affidavits. They may also apply for pro bono legal representation.
