ACCRALAW Partner Elaine Patricia S. Reyes-Rodolfo lectured on Mergers and Acquisitions at the 2nd IHAP M&A Seminar Series of the Investment House Association of the Philippines (“IHAP”). The Seminar Series is part of IHAP’s learning series of lectures and workshops focused on capital market products and their corresponding documentation. It is designed for deal associates of IHAP member institutions to further enhance their skills in investment banking. The four-part series was divided into the following topics: M&A as Strategy; M&A Negotiation Simulation; Valuation Process; and Mergers and Acquisitions, and held at the Makati Sports Club on 12, 19, 26 April and 10 May 2024.
IHAP is a non-stock, non-profit organization with the primary objective of promoting a better understanding of the role and functions of investment houses in the Philippines and enhancing their contribution to the growth of Philippine business and the economy through the development of the capital market.
Ms. Reyes’ lecture focused on M&As, due diligence, documentation, and compliance with the Philippine Competition Act, as it relates to M&As. She is a Partner of the Firm’s Corporate and Special Projects Department. Among her fields of expertise is representing domestic and foreign clients in M&As, either for the seller or buyer, and advising them on the structure and documentation of their deals.
