ACCRALAW lawyers led by Managing Partner Patricia-Ann T. Prodigalidad and Senior Partner attended the 132nd Foundation Day and Law Day Celebration of the Philippine Bar Association (“PBA”). The PBA held its celebration on 19 September 2024 at the Kamagong Room, Manila Golf and Country Club in Makati City.
Also in attendance were Partner Chrysilla Carissa P. Bautista and Of Counsel Emerico O. De Guzman, PBA Trustee and Treasurer and PBA Past President, respectively. The other lawyers who attended were Associates Aloysius Francis M. Bresnan, Jenn Kiana Louise N. Cardeño, Nicole Sean Y. Chiang, Jose Victor A. Dimaculangan, Louie Emmanuel G. Pagtakhan, Beatriz Maria Sofia C. Pangalangan, and Ralph Vincent S. Samaniego.
The highlight of the PBA event was the Keynote Speech of Department of National Defense Secretary Gilberto C. Teodoro, Jr. Secretary Teodoro, a lawyer himself, talked about the importance of upholding the Rule of Law in asserting the country’s maritime claims in the West Philippine Sea.
The PBA is the oldest voluntary national organization of lawyers in the Philippines. ACCRALAW is an ardent supporter of the PBA and its advocacies.
