Chambers and Partners’ 2025 Global Practice Guide on HR Internal Investigations

ACCRALAW contributed the Philippine chapter of Chambers and Partners’ Global Practice Guide on HR Internal Investigations for 2025. The guide offers an in-depth analysis of the legal frameworks governing internal HR investigations in the Philippines. It covers, among others, the initiation of investigations, legal bases, communication channels, and the rights of both employers and employees throughout the process. It also addresses compliance with procedural due process requirements under the Labor Code of the Philippines and relevant regulations from the Department of Labor and Employment. The guide also explores critical issues related to addressing sexual and gender-based sexual harassment in the workplace.

Structured into two sections, the Law and Practice section of the guide was co-authored by Senior Partner Clarence Darrow C. Valdecantos, Partner Neptali B. Salvanera, Senior Associate Gilyen Ezra Marie L. Li-Nulud, and Associate Jenn Kiana Louise N. Cardeno. Meanwhile, the Trends and Developments section was co-authored by Partner Erwin Jay V.
