
ACCRALAW’s Cebu Branch celebrated its 45th anniversary with a Client Appreciation Night held at Seda Ayala Center Cebu on 1 July 2025.
Senior Partner and Cebu Branch Head Ma. Iolanda B. Abella, along with Partners Eduardo V. Soleng, Jr. (Deputy Branch Head), Louie John D. Lood (Branch Monitor), and Aylward M. Consulta, welcomed clients and colleagues to the celebration.

They were joined by Managing Partner and Senior Partner Patricia-Ann T. Prodigalidad, Co-Managing Partner and Senior Partner Leland R. Villadolid, Jr., Senior Counsel and former Senate President Franklin M. Drilon, Senior Legal Counsel Victor P. Lazatin, Of Counsels Eusebio V. Tan and Teresita J. Herbosa, and the heads of the Firm’s various practice departments.
As part of the program, Ms. Abella delivered a report on the Cebu Branch’s corporate social responsibility initiatives. Mr. John Drake, Chairman of Lingap Children Development Center, Inc., also spoke about the organization’s continuing partnership with ACCRALAW Cebu.
The event also featured testimonials, beginning with a moving message from Mr. Lazatin, who recounted the founding of ACCRALAW Cebu and its early days under the leadership of Danilo R. Deen.
Longstanding client Atty. Augusto W. Go, Chairman of the University of Cebu, also shared anecdotes of friendship and unwavering loyalty to ACCRALAW Cebu.
Atty. Ken R. Gador, Legal Manager of Concreat Holdings Philippines of the DMCI Group of Companies, also took the stage, speaking about ACCRALAW Cebu’s pivotal role in supporting their corporate journey and navigating complex legal challenges.
Mr. Tatsuhiro Yamamoto, Senior Vice President of Taiheiyo Cement Philippines, Inc., followed with his own reflections, praising ACCRALAW Cebu’s steadfast commitment to excellence.
Finally, Atty. Roberto T. Ongsiako, Associate Director of Ayala Corporation, expressed his admiration for ACCRALAW Cebu’s consistent professionalism, responsiveness, and unparalleled legal expertise, which have made it a trusted partner in their endeavors.
The evening concluded with a toast led by former Senate President Drilon, joined by ACCRALAW lawyers and Cebu City Mayor Nestor Archival.
Now in its 45th year, ACCRALAW Cebu remains steadfast in providing high-quality legal services throughout the Visayan region and beyond.
