Mr. Valdecantos, Head of the Firm’s Labor and Employment Department, was named Employment Law Lawyer of the Year in the Philippines for 2026, marking his sixth consecutive recognition since 2021. With nearly 30 years of experience, his expertise spans different areas of labor and employment laws, including litigation on money claims and termination disputes, collective bargaining negotiations, preventive mediation and conciliation of labor disputes, strikes and lockouts, union representation issues, certification elections, and voluntary arbitration cases.
Mr. Salvanera, the Labor and Employment Department’s Monitor, was recognized as Employment Litigation Lawyer of the Year in the Philippines. With over 25 years of legal expertise, he is widely regarded for handling labor law litigation, illegal dismissal, unfair labor practice, labor audits, strikes, union organization and representation issues, the labor aspect of mergers and acquisitions, and the planning and implementation of manpower reduction programs.
