Eduardo V. Soleng, Jr.

Eduardo “Jojo” V. Soleng, Jr. is a Partner at ACCRALAW and has served as Deputy Head of the Firm’s Cebu Branch since 2024. He specializes in civil, commercial, criminal, and labor litigation, as well as dispute resolution. Over the course of his career, Jojo has represented and advised both individuals and leading local and foreign corporations across diverse industries, including mining, cement and construction, oil and power, banking, insurance, hospitality, and business process outsourcing.

Jojo has earned a distinguished reputation in litigation and labor and employment law. He was consistently recognized as a Leading Lawyer by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific in 2017 and 2018, and later as a Recommended Lawyer in 2021.

With nearly two decades of legal practice, Jojo also brings strong academic credentials. He graduated magna cum laude in his undergraduate studies and ranked in the top five of his class at San Beda University College of Law. He currently serves as a Professor of Law at the University of San Carlos, teaching courses in Remedial Law Review, Civil Procedure, Criminal Procedure, Obligations and Contracts, and Persons and Family Law.

Beyond the courtroom and classroom, Jojo is an active member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines (Cebu Chapter) and serves as a legal consultant for the Cebu Chamber of Commerce. He also plays an active role in regional legal conferences like the ASEAN Law Association Governing Council meetings.

Outside of his professional commitments, Jojo enjoys traveling with his family and finds relaxation in watching TikTok, which he considers therapeutic.
