Mr. Castillo has represented and advised clients in the litigation and arbitration of complex disputes involving construction, public utilities (power and water), environment and natural resources, product liability, white-collar crimes, real estate, family and matrimonial relations, and estate settlement.
Mr. Castillo co-authored Human rights in the contemporary Philippine setting: quis custodiet ipsos custodes?, a chapter of the Encyclopedia of Public International Law in Asia. He also co-authored the Philippine chapters of the International Comparative Legal Guides’ Construction & Engineering Law 2024 and Legal 500’s Country Comparative Guide on Construction 2025.
He represented the Philippines in the 2019 ALSA International Investment Arbitration Moot Court Competition in Bangkok, Thailand, where his team won the championship.
Mr. Castillo was recognized for his Exemplary Performance in the 2020/2021 Bar Examinations and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2022.
He is a member of the Makati Chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, the ASEAN Law Association, the Young International Council for Commercial Arbitration, and the Young Singapore International Arbitration Centre.
