ACCRALAW and Khan Academy Philippines formalized their strategic partnership with a signing of their Memorandum of Agreement last 13 August 2024. It was held at the ACCRALAW Head Office in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City.
ACCRALAW, through its Corporate and Social Responsibility (“CSR”) Department, committed to provide pro bono legal services to Khan Academy Philippines. These services include conducting capacity building activities, such as lectures and trainings, and rendering legal assistance as may be needed.
Khan Academy Philippines is a non-stock non-profit organization that provides, among others, learning platforms for free to students and teachers in the Philippines. Khan Academy seeks to equip teachers with innovative educational tools and strengthen students’ mastery of foundational skills.
Representing ACCRALAW during this event were Managing Partner Patricia-Ann T. Prodigalidad, Co-Managing Partner Leland R. Villadolid, Jr., Senior Partner Alex Ferdinand S. Fider, and Partner Chrysilla Carissa P. Bautista. Mr. Fider heads the CSR Department and is assisted by Ms. Bautista. Louie John D. Lood, Partner of the Cebu Branch, also assists in the various projects of the CSR Department. Eric R. Recalde, who heads the Tax Department, is among the lawyers who assists Khan Academy Philippines.
Khan Academy Philippines was represented by its President and CEO Geraldine Acuña-Sunshine, and Trustee and COO, Myrish Cadapan-Antonio.
