ACCRALAW contributes Philippine chapter to The Global Legal Post’s Enforcement of Judgments Law Guide

ACCRALAW is pleased to announce its contribution to the Philippine chapter of The Global Legal Post’s Law Over Borders: Enforcement of Judgments Law Guide 2026 Edition.

The guide provides a comparative overview of the recognition and enforcement of court judgments and arbitral awards across multiple jurisdictions, covering key legal frameworks, procedural requirements, available defenses, interim and protective measures, asset identification, execution procedures, timelines, and costs.

The Philippine chapter was co-authored by Senior Partner Oliver L. Pantaleon and Partners Antonio Eduardo S. Nachura, Jr. and Charlemagne Rae P. Chavez of the firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department. The chapter discusses the Philippine legal framework for the recognition and enforcement of foreign court judgments and arbitral awards, including applicable procedural rules, principal requirements for enforcement, available defenses, practical considerations, appeal mechanisms, and measures to identify and preserve assets.

This contribution reflects the firm’s continuing commitment to providing practical, jurisdiction-specific guidance on cross-border dispute resolution and enforcement strategies.
