ACCRALAW assisted Coolwave Communications Philippines, Inc. (“Coolwave”) in its registration as Data Transmission Industry Participant (“DTIP”) classified as a Voice-over-Internet-Protocol (“VoIP”) Reseller with the National Telecommunications Commission (“NTC”). Coolwave is an international cloud communications, voice, and messaging services provider and operates worldwide with network points of presence in major data hubs including Amsterdam, Dublin, London, and Singapore. It is the first applicant for DTIP registration in the Philippines as a VoIP Reseller under R.A. No. 12234, otherwise known as the Konektadong Pinoy Act.
On 27 August 2026, the NTC issued to Coolwave its Certificate of NTC Registration as DTIP (Last Mile Provider) authorizing Coolwave to offer VoIP Reseller data transmission services in the Philippines. This marks the first successful DTIP registration of its kind in the country.
