In IP Asia’s article entitled “The coding lawyer decoded” published last 30 September 2020, ACCRALAW Partner John Paul M. Gaba was identified among the lawyers who have adapted to technological trends for the legal practice. What started as his early fascination in computer science has grown to a desire to study coding and programming.
Mr. Gaba views that “gaining a working knowledge on coding and programming will help lawyers acquire the skillset and mind frame of ‘solving problems’ – applying legal concepts and principles to a given situation in order to arrive at a more relevant and acceptable decision or conclusion.”
Mr. Gaba specializes in intellectual property law, cyberspace and e-commerce law, and data privacy and protection. He assists clients in managing their intellectual property portfolio, and renders advice on how to effectively protect intellectual property assets, both locally and abroad.
