On 16 April 2024, ACCRALAW Partners Louie John D. Lood and Aylward M. Consulta delivered lectures at the Learning Session entitled “Let Us Talk More About Labor Laws” for the Mactan Economic Processing Zone – Human Resource Association Inc. (MEPZ-HRA).

ACCRALAW served as counsel of Smartmatic TIM Corporation and Smartmatic Philippines, Inc. in a Petition for Certiorari win before the Supreme Court.

ACCRALAW assisted in the compulsory notification requirements under Republic Act No. 10667, or the Philippine Competition Act, in connection with the transaction between Majorel Group Luxembourg S.A. (“Majorel”) and Teleperformance SE worth €3 billion.

Managing Partner and Senior Partner Patricia-Ann T. Prodigalidad, Senior Partner Jose Martin R. Tensuan, and Senior Legal Counsel Victor P. Lazatin were recently elected to the Council of Trustee of the Society of Construction Law – Philippines (SCL-Philippines).

Managing Partner and Senior Partner Patricia-Ann T. Prodigalidad has been designated as a member of the Office for Alternative Dispute Resolution (OADR). She is the representative of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Provider Organizations.

ACCRALAW acted as Philippine counsel to the Managers, Merrill Lynch (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., UBS AG Hong Kong Branch, First Metro Investment Corporation, and MUFG Securities Asia Limited Singapore Branch, in relation to Metrobank’s issuance of a dual tranche, 5-year USD 500 Million and 10-year USD 500 Million notes under its USD 2 Billion Medium Term Note Programme. 

ACCRALAW’s Chrysilla Carissa P. Bautista was re-elected as Trustee of the Philippine Bar Association (“PBA”). She was also re-elected to the position of Treasurer.

ACCRALAW acted as counsel for Century Properties Group Inc. (“CPGI”) in relation to its issuance of 20,000,000 Series B Preferred Shares which were listed and traded on the Main Board of the Philippine Stock Exchange on 22 February 2024.
