Mr. Pineda’s legal dissertation on the Mental Health Act vis-à-vis Equal Legal Capacity under international law won Third Place in the Foundation for Liberty and Prosperity (FLP) National Dissertation Contest in the Philippines for the year 2021 to 2022. Currently, he is the Chairperson of the Executive Committee of the FLP Scholars Society.
Mr. Pineda was also part of the team that represented the Philippines in the 2021 John H. Jackson Moot Court Competition in Geneva, Switzerland (via videoconference).
Mr. Pineda was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2023 and is a member of the Makati City Chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
