Mr. Chavez has represented clients in complex litigation cases involving corporate rehabilitation, cybersecurity and data protection, mining, and public utilities. He has also represented clients in international arbitration before the Singapore International Arbitration Centre and construction arbitration before the Construction Industry Arbitration Commission. He is also a trained arbitrator of the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center, Inc.
He co-authored the 2020 Philippine chapter of the Insolvency and Restructuring Handbook published by Asian Legal Business.
Mr. Chavez represented the Philippines in international moot court competitions such as the 2015 Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Washington D.C., the 2014 Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot Court Competition in Vienna, Austria, and the 2013 International Humanitarian Law Moot Court Competition.
He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2016 and is a member of the Makati City Chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
