Ms. Culala served as a Member of the Board of Editors of the Ateneo Law Journal from 2021 to 2023 and was the Associate Lead Editor for the Foreign Policy and International Law Issue of its 67th Volume. 

She represented the Philippines in the 2022 International Bar Association International Criminal Court Moot Court Competition at the Hague, Netherlands (via videoconference), where her team was recognized as a semi-finalist.

Ms. Culala has published several articles at the Ateneo Law Journal, including:

  • “Trade at the Forefront of the Battle Against Environmental Degradation: An Analysis of E.O. No. 459, Series of 1997 Towards the Ethics of a Green Future” [68 ATENEO L.J. 1301 (2024)];
  • “We Built This City from Rock to Shore: Re-Conceptualizing the Concept of the Built Environment Vis-a-Vis Environmental Protection and Climate Change in the 21st Century” [67 ATENEO L.J. 440 (2022)]; and 
  • “Knives Out: Treading the Geography of Neighborhood Delinquency by Analyzing the Nexus Between Built Environment and Crime Incidence” [67 ATENEO L.J. 494 (2022)]. 

In 2026, Ms. Culala was awarded a full bursary under the University of Oxford’s Oxford LawTech Education Programme (OLTEP), a joint initiative by the Law and Department of Science Faculty of the said university, through which she completed their AI University Foundations course. 

Ms. Culala was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2023 and is a member of the Cavite Chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
