Ms. Soriano focuses on immigration and citizenship law. She advises local and multinational corporations, regional operating headquarters, business process outsourcing companies, airline companies, and educational institutions on the work permit and work visa, special non-immigrant visa, and immigrant visa applications of their foreign executive and technical personnel. She regularly represents clients before the Department of Labor and Employment, the Bureau of Immigration, and the Department of Justice. She also provides advice on outbound employment requirements and procedures before the Department of Migrant Workers.
She represents individuals in proceedings for the acquisition of Philippine citizenship through judicial naturalization, and assists with applications for the recognition and re-acquisition of Philippine citizenship. She has likewise assisted clients with the lifting of blacklist and hold departure orders at the Bureau of Immigration.
Ms. Soriano co-authored the Philippine chapter of International Immigration and Nationality Law (Second Edition) published by the Center for International Legal Studies, Austria in 2023.
Ms. Soriano was recognized for her Exemplary Performance in the 2020/2021 Bar Examinations and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2022. She is a member of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines – Bulacan Chapter and the University of the Philippines Women Lawyers’ Circle.
