Ms. Marcos has handled complex litigation matters involving civil, criminal, and administrative disputes, as well as special proceedings before judicial and quasi-judicial bodies, and regulatory agencies, representing both individual and corporate clients.
Among the significant matters handled by Ms. Marcos include:
- successfully obtaining a favorable ruling from the Supreme Court dismissing a criminal case filed against directors of an airport concessionaire;
- appearing as counsel for one of the oldest banks in the Philippines in proceedings before the Singapore International Arbitration Centre;
- representing the largest energy distribution utility company in the country in matters involving rate setting and adjustment;
- advising one of the largest social media platforms on regulatory and compliance matters;
- representing a financial regulatory institution in litigation involving closure of a large bank;
- assisting a leading digital identity technology operator in ensuring compliance with the country’s regulatory laws, including the Data Privacy Act of 2012; and
- assisting in matters involving estate administration, heirship, nullity of marriage, and other related family law matters.
Ms. Marcos was recognized for her Exemplary Performance in the 2020/2021 Bar Examinations and was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 2022. She is a member of the Quezon City Chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
