Mr. Bautista has had extensive experience in the establishment of joint venture companies and local subsidiaries, and the formation of branches of foreign companies for the purpose of doing business in the Philippines and obtaining fiscal incentives. He has also been involved in the establishment of call centers, manufacturing companies, power generation, pharmaceutical and holding companies. Mr. Bautista has actively participated in the negotiations, acquisition and the performance of due diligence of entities engaged in the various fields of business and industries, such as, the operation of an airline business, mass rail transit, toll roads, hotel, manufacturing, mining and call centers. His expertise includes assistance in the establishment and the operation of life and non-life insurance companies. He has also rendered service for several multinational insurance companies by reviewing and localizing insurance policies. He has assisted in the sale of non-performing assets of various banks and financial institutions, prepared security arrangements and agreements for loans and has also participated in several public biddings for the operation of public utilities and acquisition of government properties. His other projects include registration of securities, land registration, estate settlement and registration of investments with special economic zones.
Mr. Bautista obtained his Bachelor of Laws degree from the Ateneo de Manila University in 2001. He completed his degree in Bachelor of Arts, major in Pre-Divinity/Philosophy from the Ateneo De Manila University, where he graduated with honors in 1996. In 2007, he took up a course on American and International Law at the Center for American and International Law in Plano, Texas.
Law Professorial Positions & Legal Publications:
As a Lecturer in the Mapua Institute of Technology – E.T. Yuchengco School of Business, Mr. Bautista teaches a course in Law of Business Organizations. He has likewise taught a course in Obligations and Contracts in the same institute. Aside from his involvement in legal education, Mr. Bautista also co-authored “Doyle’s Practical Guide to Business Law in Emerging Countries in Asia – Philippine Section” (2010), a guide book to doing business in several countries in Asia, including the Philippines. He likewise co-authored the Philippine portion of “International Joint Ventures” published by Center for International Legal Studies.

Mr. Bautista is a member of the Bulacan Chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines and the Alumni Association of the Center for American and International Law in Dallas, Texas.
