ACCRALAW lawyers Christopher Louie D. Ocampo and Paula P. Plaza co-authored the ASEAN Fintech Ecosystem Benchmarking Study. This study was jointly produced by the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance at Cambridge Judge Business School, the Asian Development Bank Institute and FinTechSpace.
It analyzes the development of the FinTech start-up landscape across the ASEAN region and compares the regulatory frameworks established for FinTech sectors in the 10 ASEAN member states.
Key highlights from the study were presented at the 2019 Innovate Finance Global Summit during London FinTech week.
Mr. Ocampo is a Senior Associate of the Firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department. In 2018, he completed his Master of Law and Finance from the University of Oxford. He currently teaches at the University of the Philippines College of Law.
Ms. Plaza is an Associate and belongs to the Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department. Ms. Plaza has given talks and participated in panel discussions on blockchain technology.
