ACCRALAW contributed the Philippine chapter of the Chambers International Arbitration Guide for 2020. The guide provides “expert legal commentary on tribunals, preliminary and interim relief, collection and submission of evidence, confidentiality, types of remedies, class actions, the New York Convention, and grounds for appeal and enforcement” in 47 jurisdictions worldwide.
The Philippine chapter was authored by lawyers from the Firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department, namely Of Counsel Victor P. Lazatin, Senior Partner Patricia-Ann T. Prodigalidad, and Partners Jose Martin R. Tensuan and Antonio Eduardo S. Nachura, Jr. The chapter discussed, among others, the governing rules of arbitration, the applicable evidentiary rules, the grounds for appeal, and the enforcement of arbitral awards.
The Chambers Global Practice Guides provide legal commentary on “practical legal issues affecting business” and enable the reader to compare legislations and procedures across borders.
