ACCRALAW’s Chrysilla Carissa P. Bautista was re-elected as Trustee of the Philippine Bar Association (“PBA”). She was also re-elected to the position of Treasurer.
The oath-taking of the PBA Board of Trustees and Council of Advisers was held last 27 February 2024 at the at the Session Hall of the Supreme Court in Manila. Honorable Supreme Court Associate Justice Antonio T. Kho, Jr. was the guest speaker and inducting officer.
The PBA is the oldest voluntary organization of lawyers in the Philippines. Its advocacy is to uphold the rule of law. It actively provides pro bono legal aid to deserving clients and participates in different fora for the revision and amendment of laws. The current PBA President is Joey Raymond R. Ayson, a position previously held by other ACCRALAW lawyers, Rogelio A. Vinluan, Victor P. Lazatin, and Emerico O. De Guzman.
