
ACCRALAW Senior Associate Napoleon L. Gonzales III recently conducted the training module on Philippine Immigration and Citizenship Law for participants of the University of the Philippines (UP) Law Center’s Paralegal Training Program. The lecture was delivered asynchronously on 24 March 2025, followed by a live question-and-answer session on 29 March 2025. His discussion covered key topics, including regulations on entry into the Philippines, the various types of Philippine visas, coercive measures and derogatory information, deportation procedures, naturalization, and dual citizenship, among others.
Mr. Gonzales is consistently recognized by the Legal 500 Asia-Pacific as a Leading Associate for Immigration in the Philippines. He advises international banks, government institutions, business process outsourcing companies, and other multinational corporations on compliance with Philippine immigration laws.
The UP Law Center Paralegal Training Program is “an extension service and training program” that aims to “lay the foundation for the development and professionalization of paralegal work in the country”.
