ACCRALAW Authors Philippine Chapter of Global Legal Insights – Fintech 2025

ACCRALAW is proud to have contributed the Philippine chapter to the Global Legal Insights – Fintech 2025, published by the London-based Global Legal Group. This publication forms part of a comprehensive series of sixteen annual digital and print volumes that provide jurisdiction-specific analysis of key legal developments and trends across various practice areas.

The Philippine chapter was authored by Partners Joselito M. Bautista and Christopher Louie D. Ocampo, along with Senior Associates Dan Bernard S. Sabilala and Enrique F. Nitura, with valuable support from Senior Associate Duane Michaels U. Po and Associate Aloysius Francis M. Bresnan.

In this contribution, ACCRALAW highlighted the Philippines’ progressive shift towards a digitalized and modernized financial ecosystem, led by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, in collaboration with Congress and the private sector. The chapter also examined the evolving regulatory landscape and the country’s increasing engagement in cross-border cooperation, all aimed at fostering a more inclusive and technologically advanced financial system.

Through its collaboration with the Global Legal Group, ACCRALAW continues to provide global stakeholders — both individuals and enterprises — with insightful and practical perspectives on the dynamic Fintech environment in the Philippines.
