ACCRALAW at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre Manila Conference 2025

ACCRALAW Partner Antonio Eduardo S. Nachura, Jr. participated as a panelist at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (“SIAC”) Manila Conference 2025 (the “Conference”) held on 6 May 2025 at the Makati Shangri-La, Manila in Makati City.

In a panel session entitled Navigating the Path to Resolution and Enforcement – Institution and Practice Perspectives moderated by SIAC Director & Head, Americas, Adriana Uson, Mr. Nachura provided his perspectives on how arbitrators, counsels, and institutions can work together to manage time and financial costs for the parties during the arbitration, enforceability of emergency arbitration awards in the Philippines, common arbitration-related applications brought before the Philippine courts, and his professional experience of enforcement of arbitral awards in the Philippines. He also shared his insights on practical pathways to resolution and enforcement of arbitral awards from both institutional and practitioner viewpoints.

The Conference was attended by almost 200 participants representing institutional representatives, private practitioners, in-house counsels, and arbitrators.

Mr. Nachura is from the Firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department and specializes in litigation, alternative dispute resolution, administrative law, civil law, criminal law, and corporate law. With over two decades of experience, he has handled arbitration cases before the International Court of Arbitration and the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center, Inc.

The Firm has been consistently recognized for its arbitration practice. In 2024, the Firm was awarded in the Arbitration & ADR category in Asia Business Law Journal’s Philippines Law Firm Awards, in addition to ten other categories.
