ACCRALAW Joins the 4th ICC Philippines Arbitration Day

Several lawyers from the Firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department attended the 4th International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Philippines Arbitration Day on 23 April 2026 at the Fairmont Hotel, Makati. The team was led by Victor P. Lazatin (ACCRALAW Senior Legal Counsel and Chairman of the ICC Philippines Arbitration Committee), Patricia-Ann T. Prodigalidad (ACCRALAW Managing Partner, Senior Partner, and member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration), and Jose Martin R. Tensuan (ACCRALAW Senior Partner and Monitor of the Alternative Dispute Resolution Group). They were joined by ACCRALAW Partners Christopher Louie D. Ocampo, Joseph Anthony I. Malaya, and Charlemagne Rae P. Chavez, and Senior Associates Antonio Bonifacio C. Reynes, Leo Frederick Z. Cruz, and Madelene Ruth F. Salazar.

The event was a gathering of top legal professionals and business decision-makers in one of the Asia-Pacific’s fastest-growing jurisdictions. This annual conference bridges the gap between legal theory and practice, offering legal professionals a unique platform for networking and building industry synergy.

The conference featured three sessions covering (1) Artificial Intelligence in International Arbitration, which focused on navigating the regulatory landscape and the “bane vs. benefit” debate; (2) Corruption in Arbitration, which discussed practical strategies for tribunals and compliance officers on navigating sensitive matters such as allegations of corruption in domestic and international proceedings; and (3) Dispute Boards to Arbitral Tribunal, which explored multi-tiered resolution to efficiently leverage Dispute Boards to prevent “guerrilla tactics” and de-escalate conflicts.

ACCRALAW is widely recognized for its strong arbitration practice, representing clients in complex domestic and international arbitration proceedings across various industries. The Firm’s lawyers regularly act as counsel and arbitrators in institutional and ad hoc arbitrations and remain actively engaged in global arbitration forums.
