Like other educational institutions, the University of the Philippines Law Center migrated its Paralegal Training Program online. Partner Chrysilla Carissa P. Bautista is one of the program’s lecturers. Ms. Bautista’s training module provides an introduction to criminal law and an overview of the rules on criminal procedure.
After providing the participants with a series of pre-recorded lectures, an online discussion and open forum was conducted giving the participants the opportunity to ask on the different topics covered by the lectures. The online forum was held last 12 December 2020 and attended by officers of the Philippine Ports Authority Police Department.
Part of Ms. Bautista’s practice is advising and representing clients in a broad range of disputes, whether administrative, criminal, civil or commercial in nature. She also teaches Criminal Procedure in the University of the Philippines College of Law.
