ACCRALAW acted as Philippine counsel to the Managers, Merrill Lynch (Singapore) Pte. Ltd., UBS AG Hong Kong Branch, First Metro Investment Corporation, and MUFG Securities Asia Limited Singapore Branch, in relation to Metrobank’s issuance of a dual tranche, 5-year USD 500 Million and 10-year USD 500 Million notes under its USD 2 Billion Medium Term Note Programme. 

ACCRALAW’s Chrysilla Carissa P. Bautista was re-elected as Trustee of the Philippine Bar Association (“PBA”). She was also re-elected to the position of Treasurer.

ACCRALAW acted as counsel for Century Properties Group Inc. (“CPGI”) in relation to its issuance of 20,000,000 Series B Preferred Shares which were listed and traded on the Main Board of the Philippine Stock Exchange on 22 February 2024.

Mr. Reynaldo J. Concepcion of ACCRALAW’s Corporate and Special Projects Department was recently promoted to Senior Partner. Mr. Concepcion’s practice focuses on corporate law and transactional work. He has assisted clients in various M&A deals from due diligence to negotiations. He also has experience in securities and capital markets.

To share the recent experiences of its arbitration practitioners, ACCRALAW co-sponsored the panel entitled “The Benefits of, Challenges to, and Trends in Commercial Arbitration in the Philippines” at the recently held The Legal 500 GC Summit Philippines 2024.
