ACCRALAW is proud to have contributed the Philippine chapter to the Global Legal Insights – Fintech 2025, published by the London-based Global Legal Group.

ACCRALAW Senior Associate Roilan Rigil Kent A. Alonzo and Associate Louise Michiko B. Lokin were featured in the 2nd Issue of the 98th Volume of the Philippine Law Journal.

The Philippine Institute of Construction Arbitrators and Mediators (“PICAM”) held the First PICAM Construction Arbitration Moot Competition from 14 to 15 July at the University of the Philippines BGC Campus. Eight law schools from different parts of the country fielded well-prepared moot teams for this momentous event.

ACCRALAW acted as counsel to the Joint Lead Arrangers and Selling Agents, ING Bank, Standard Chartered Bank, and Philippine Commercial Capital Inc., in connection with the PHP16 billion fixed-rate bond offering by Union Bank of the Philippines under its PHP100 billion Bond Program.

ACCRALAW’s Cebu Branch celebrated its 45th anniversary with a Client Appreciation Night held at Seda Ayala Center Cebu on 1 July 2025.

ACCRALAW contributed the Philippine chapter of the Startup Legal Playbook (Third Edition, 2025), published by the International Technology Law Association (“ITechLaw”).

ACCRALAW Senior Associate Joan Janneth M. Estremadura served as one of the speakers at “Trademark Your Hustle: Building a Brand with Trademark Strategy”, a seminar organized by the De La Salle University (DLSU) Intellectual Property Office and the DLSU Intellectual Property Advocates. The event was held at DLSU-Manila on 25 June 2025 and was attended by more than 100 DLSU business and legal management students.

The ACCRALAW Legal Pro Bono Aid Services (ALPAS) conducted its pilot legal outreach activity in Caloocan City on 25 June 2025.

On 14 June 2025, ACCRALAW attended the annual Recognition Day of the Batang Munti Foundation (“BMF”) at Museo ng Muntinlupa in Muntinlupa City. BMF is a non-profit organization that provides scholarships to elementary and college students in Muntinlupa City. ACCRALAW Associate Aloysius Francis M. Bresnan represented ACCRALAW at the event. He joined BMF President Mr. Jo T. Alcaraz, Treasurer Ms. Michelle Sison, and Board of Trustees Member Ms. Maricel Lumio in honoring the achievements of BMF’s scholars.

ACCRALAW Senior Legal Counsel Francisco Ed. Lim was recently appointed by President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr. as the incoming Chairperson of the Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”).
