Mr. George S.D. Aquino, a Partner of the Firm’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution Department, recently recorded his lecture entitled, “Trial and Pre-Trial Skills: Litigation in the Time of COVID-19” for the Ateneo School of Law’s Mandatory Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) online seminars. The Ateneo School of Law is one of the first institutions to offer MCLE lectures online, which will be available through a special app launching towards the end of 2020.
Undoubtedly, the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted different professions. With the guidance of the Supreme Court, certain changes have been introduced. In the meantime, clients’ interests remain at the forefront and law practitioners are adapting.
Mr. Aquino is a litigator and law professor. He teaches remedial law subjects, such as Criminal Procedure and Civil Procedure, at the Ateneo School of Law.
