The Taiwan Intellectual Property Office (TIPO) and the Taiwan Patent Attorneys’ Associate organized the “Seminar on IP Landscape in New Southbound Countries”. It was held last 27 to 29 August 2019 at the International Conference Hall, Tsai Lecture Hall, College of Law, National Taiwan University.
Among the speakers is ACCRALAW’s Jose Eduardo T. Genilo who lectured on Philippine Patent Law.
The seminar was attended by over 200 IP and patent lawyers. Among the notable participants were TIPO officials, including its Director General.
Mr. Genilo is one of the Partners of the Firm’s Intellectual Property Department. Among his key practice areas is Patent Law. He actively advises clients on IP matters, and on specific to Patent Law, he has drafted specifications and claims, prosecuted patent applications, litigated enforcement actions, as well as rendered freedom to operate opinions.
