Data privacy and protection is one of the fields of specialization of our Firm’s John Paul M. Gaba. He is a Partner of the Intellectual Property Department and a Member of the PHILJA’s Corps of Professors. He is also a Regular Member of PHILJA’s Department of Court Technology.
Mr. Gaba lectured last 29 July 2019 at PHILJA’s 50th Pre-Judicature Program held in Davao City. He lectured on “Advanced Legal Research with Computer-Aided Research” and “Technology & the Courts, The Rules on Electronic Evidence, Cybercrime Law, and the Data Privacy Act”. It was a well-attended lecture series. Aspiring judges usually attend said lecture series.
