Mr. Gallos’ practice area includes civil, commercial and criminal litigation before the regular courts, as well as commercial and construction arbitration before domestic and international tribunals. He has argued before the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court, and has represented a diverse range of clients in various quasi-judicial and administrative agencies. Mr. Gallos also specializes in corporate bankruptcy and rehabilitation.
Mr. Gallos co-authored the Philippine chapters of:
- Collier International Business Insolvency Guide, 2005 to date (Lexis Nexis-Matthew Bender)
- Guide to Restructuring in Asia, 2001 (Asian Development Bank and White Page)
- He has regularly contributed to the World Bank’s Doing Business Project.
In 2004, he delivered a paper entitled “Trends and Developments in Insolvency Systems and Risk Management: The Experience of the Philippines” during the Forum on Asian Insolvency Reform in New Delhi, India.
Mr. Gallos is also a member of the Working Committee of the Asian Principles of Business Restructuring Project – a joint project of the Asian Business Law Institute (ABLI) and the International Insolvency Institute (III).
Mr. Gallos has been cited a Leading Lawyer in the field of Dispute Resolution & Litigation in the Philippines by various legal publications.
He was admitted to the Philippine Bar in 1994 and is a member of the Makati City Chapter of the Integrated Bar of the Philippines.
