The guide aims to provide foreign lenders a concise summary of the important laws and regulations in different jurisdictions. Senior Partner Judy Hao, Partners Chrysilla Carissa P. Bautista and Eric R. Recaldo wrote the chapter.
They identifed and explained the key features of the applicable laws on loan and security agreements. They also identified the possible tax impact of these arrangements. A brief discussion on insolvency laws was also provided.
