OTHER WORK EXPERIENCES:
Prior to joining the Firm in 1982, Mr. Manibog was a Senior Mediation Arbiter at the Bureau of Labor Relations where he handled inter-union and intra-union disputes and was active in conciliation and mediation of labor disputes. In 1980, he underwent training in labor relations as a government scholar at the International Training Institute in Australia. He joined ACCRALAW in 1982. He formerly headed the Firm’s Labor and Employment Department and was the Partner-in-charge of Finance in ACCRALAW.
AWARDS AND CITATIONS:
Mr. Manibog has been cited by various legal publications as among the leading lawyers in the field of labor and employment. In the 2012 publication of Chambers Asia Pacific, he was acknowledged as a seasoned labor expert whose expertise covers all aspects of employment litigation, collective bargaining negotiations and union disputes. He was also noted by Chamber Asia Pacific 2011 as "a skilled practitioner" with "extensive experience in the field" and that his highly esteemed expertise includes collective bargaining negotiations, union related disputes and litigation. Chambers Asia 2010 on the other hand, said that sources admire the "superb judgment" that informs Mr. Manibog's practice. Chamber Asia 2008 complemented him as a "hands-on" and "intelligent labor lawyer" consistently seen acting on the major cases. It was the same observation made by Chambers Global 2007. Mr. Manibog was also cited consistently by Asia Pacific Legal 500 as a highly regarded legal practitioner in the field of labor.
