Last 5 December 2019, the Firm hosted a friendly golf tournament for its lawyers, clients and friends. It was held at the Wack-Wack Golf and Country Club in Mandaluyong City.
As in the past, ACCRA Cup was well-attended by the Firm’s lawyers. Among the avid golfers in the Firm are Avelino V. Cruz, Luis A. Vera Cruz, Jr., Francisco Ed. Lim, Arnold M. Corporal and Joselito M. Bautista. Friends from SGV & Co. also attended.
In 2010 there was a discussion on whether robots should be granted rights or what was termed as “robo-rights.” This stemmed from the consideration that robots may develop the ability to reproduce, develop artificial intelligence, and even possibly, create something independent of its inventor or developer.
