ACCRALAW Partner George S.D. Aquino participated in the Supreme Court’s Pilot Caravan Consultations on the Proposed Revisions to the Rules of Civil Procedure held at the Liceo de Cagayan, Cagayan de Oro City, on 4 September 2024. Mr. Aquino reported on the revisions to Provisional Remedies and led one of the breakout sessions.
Mr. Aquino is a member of the Supreme Court Subcommittee on the Revisions to the Rules of Civil Procedure, which is headed by Chief Justice Alexander G. Gesmundo, with Associate Justice Maria Filomena D. Singh as Vice Chairperson.
For over ten years, Mr. Aquino has been teaching Remedial Law subjects such as Remedial Law Review, Civil Procedure, Criminal Procedure, and Appellate Practice at the Ateneo de Manila Law School. He is also frequently invited to lecture on Remedial Law subjects for different Bar Review Centers in the country.
His active participation in the Supreme Court Subcommittee and law teaching complements his expertise in civil and criminal litigation work.
